Adding a Blog to your Website

f blogging is something that you think would benefit your business, here's something you may not know. Having a blog on Blogger.com or Wordpress.org is much less valuable than putting your blog right on your website.
When you add blogged content to a 3rd party blog, you are putting valuable, content rich information out on the Internet that will potentially draw lots of interested traffic. Imagine if you were drawing that traffic directly to your website instead of to that 3rd party blog service.
With WordPress, you can actually download their blog software for free onto your website server and put the blog on a page on your website. If you know a bit about web design and HTML, you can even make your blog appear just like a page on your site with the same template graphics. If not, WSI can help you with that!
Here's an example of a client site we just added a WordPress Blog to: www.elreg.com/blog. This was one of our first websites launched, nearly 4 years ago and since it is built on an older version of our Opensites™ Platform, it does not support the new WSI Blog module.
